Inter Alia is the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section’s publication that has been operating since at least 2007. Throughout the years, it has changed formats–from a newsletter to a blog! Most recently, we have transferred Inter Alia to a new platform so that we can present it to you in a sleeker and cleaner format. So what should you expect from Inter Alia? Expect articles that are on the shorter side (not quite the platform for extensive law review articles) to update you on (1) new council members, (2) YLS’s leadership, (3) events and involvement that the YLS is excited about, and (4) areas of law and the profession that pique the YLS’s interest. We’ve got some great articles in the queue for you!

Question: Is the Inter Alia meant just for YLS Council Members?

Answer: No!

The SBM Young Lawyers Section has over 7,000 members! Any member of the YLS can propose an article for publication. So what are you waiting for? Show off that legal expertise of yours. Let us know what’s on your mind!
