Law school?
University of Detroit Mercy.
Objectives/goals related to your new position as Council Member–i.e. what do you want to accomplish?
I look forward to working with the council to organize and promote events for all young lawyers in Wayne and Macomb Counties. As a solo practitioner, I hope to meet other lawyers across the state and expand my referral network.
Favorite thing about your geographic region in Michigan?
I truly enjoy every region of Michigan, but the best part of living on the east side of Wayne County is the proximity to Lake St. Clair.
Why did you choose to pursue a legal career?
I wanted to be an attorney since taking a law class in high school, and I always knew I wanted to be a litigator in the courtroom.
What advice do you wish you knew when you were starting your legal career that you know now?
Clerk at different firms during law school so you can figure out what different practice areas offer and see and learn what its actually like to practice in those areas of law.
What is surprising about your job that others may not know?
Law school does not prepare you to run a law firm. You need to teach yourself and learn a lot about running a business.
What do you like to do in your spare time (i.e. hobbies and interests)?
I have a lot of hobbies because I don’t like sitting around much but they include walking my goldendoodles Vincent and Poppy, spending time with family, boating, tennis, skiing, and hunting.

Time Travel.
Favorite Snack Food?
Any candy.
